THINGSvision paper published at Frontiers in Neuroinformatics!

The paper accompanying the Python library THINGSvision by Lukas Muttenthaler and Martin Hebart has now been published at Frontiers in Neuroinformatics! The library allows extracting activations for a wide range of neural networks using both models based on Pytorch and Tensorflow. Importantly, even randomly initialized network activations can be extracted for a meaningful baseline, as well as activations for networks trained on Ecoset. Congratulations, Lukas!

Johannes Roth leaves our lab!

There is another Johannes leaving our lab: Johannes Roth completed his Master's project on creating synthetic stimuli that maximally activate individual voxels in the human visual system. Having completed his Master's, he will continue working in his recently founded startup on data analysis and web development. We wish him all the best for his future!

Johannes Singer leaves our lab!

Johannes Singer completed his Master's project on the representation of object drawings in deep neural networks and has started a PhD in the group of Radek Cichy. We wish him all the best! The good news: We collected MEG and fMRI data and will continue to collaborate on this ongoing project. Yay!
